More than a Spanish course
This program promotes communicative competence and prepares students to earn their Ab Initio diploma. It has been created in alignment with the pedagogical principles of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme.
Our goal is not only for students to master the language but also to prepare them for the IB exams and to become global citizens with a critical and multicultural mindset.
Throughout the course, students explore the five IB themes, gaining the linguistic and cultural tools needed to face challenges both inside and beyond the classroom:

Active, experiential methodology
Each unit begins with engaging inductive activities that spark curiosity and introduce key content.
CAS, Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge
The course incorporates the IB core elements and teaching/learning approaches aligned with IB standards.
Comprehensive IB exam preparation
The sections “Me preparo para el IB” and “Consolida” provide tasks modeled after the official IB assessments, building student confidence and improving performance.
